| We provide therapy and behavior management for residents,
support to families, training and case management, assistance
to staff, and consultation to the facility when residents exhibit
behavioral problems, emotional distress, irrational anger, depression,
anxiety, cognitive loss, prolonged grief reactions and major
psychiatric conditions. We assist the facility to assure that
all reasonable less restrictive interventions have been attempted
and are being used to reduce or minimize the need for psychoactive
medications or other restraints. We also offer specialized services
for residents with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias
and have developed a series of staff training programs in this
area. We provide start up assistance and consultation for family
and support groups. |
